The 5.5-foot bed's specifications include a length of 67.1 inches, a width of 50.6 inches between the wheelhouses, and an inside height of 21.4 inches, for a total cargo box volume of 52.8 cubic feet. The major reason why people buy trucks is so that they can load them full of stuff, and the Ford F-150 Lightning's overall cargo space will please many. It's just a pity that the F-150 Lightning's interior colors are so limited. Overall, the materials strike a good balance between durability and acceptable perceived quality, and the higher-spec trim levels, especially the Platinum trim, border on premium. Both the Lariat and Platinum have a ten-way power driver's seat linked to a memory system. ![]() Here, the Active Motion front seats in the Ford F-150 Lightning can massage away any aches, and they combine with authentic real wood "End cut Oak" trim accents to impart a wonderfully premium air. Leather seats in a Black/Medium Dark Slate combination make their way into the Lariat, and the Platinum comes with extremely classy premium Nirvana leather seats in Black/Medium Dark Slate with Black tuxedo stripes. Here, the driver also benefits from an eight-way power seat and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. The XLT sticks with Medium Dark Slate but swaps out the more hard-wearing vinyl for cloth upholstery. This version also has more basic four-way manually-adjustable seats, a black vinyl floor covering, and a urethane-wrapped steering wheel. The seating arrangement in the Ford F-150 Lightning starts with basic vinyl in Medium Dark Slate for the Pro, and that's the only choice for this entry-level model. ![]()
